Each journal measures 8.5" x 5.5".

Each journal is filled with 200 pages (counting both sides approximate) of either Wide Ruled or College Ruled off-white Paper.

- Compass Rose Real Leather Journal has College Ruled paper.

- All other journals have Wide Ruled paper

For reference:

- College Ruled refills paper has 9/32 in (7.1 mm) spacing between horizontal lines.

- Wide Ruled refills paper has 11/32 in (8.7 mm) spacing between horizontal lines.

The paper is about the thickness of copier paper. Technically it is 80 gsm (Grams per Square Meter).

Yes, they stay open pretty well. The cover definitely lays flat and the pages that come with it do also.

   - College Rules refills - These come with our Compass Rose Real Leather Journal.

   - Blank refill - a popular option for those who don't want to be constrained by lines and want to draw or write outside of the lines.
